Cd - Israel Vibration - Free To Move (CD)

Released in 1996, Free to Move marked the peak of the band's career. In France alone, the CD sold 40,000 copies within a few months, accompanied by a tour of around 30 dates across the country and a three-night run at Paris' Élysée Montmartre, the reggae hotspot of the time.

The band gained significant media attention, featuring on the cover of L'AFFICHE magazine (then under the editorial direction of Olivier Cachin) and delivering a standout performance on Nulle Part Ailleurs live on Canal+ as the musical guest. At that time, they were regarded as THE reggae band taking the scene by storm.

Today marks a major event: the CD has been unavailable since 2004, and the vinyl has not been available since its original release in 1996. Back then, the production team pressed the 12-track album onto a single vinyl, cramming over 30 minutes per side, which resulted in poor sound quality for this masterpiece.

Now, we’ve gone back to the original tapes to properly remaster this iconic album, limiting each side to just three tracks to restore the full power of the mix and ensure optimal listening quality. This reissue comes in the form of a double vinyl (2 x 180g) with a 350g UV glossy sleeve, bringing back all the prestige of this cornerstone album in the band's career.
